Bonnie N. Moats, 76, of Sutton, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Clay Health Care Center.

She was born September 7, 1944 in Sutton to the late Frank and Ida Perkins Skidmore.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Moats; brothers, Henry Skidmore, Franklin Skidmore, and Calvin Kurt Skidmore; and sister, Helen Skidmore.

Bonnie worked as a waitress at Century Inn for 30 years.  She enjoyed working in her flower garden at home and she loved to shop.  The Young and the Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful were her favorite soap operas to watch on the television.  She was a Christian by faith.  She will be missed dearly.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Steven Moats and wife, Sherry, of Sutton; daughter, Mary Jane Rose and husband, Mark, of Little Birch; brothers, Scott Skidmore and wife, Mary, of Gasport, NY, Roger Dale Skidmore of Georgia, and Leslie Skidmore of Sutton; and sister, Barbara Jean Jones of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Courtney Shaver and husband, Kirk, of Exchange, Ryan Rose and wife, Courtney, of Sutton, Jesse Moats and wife, Sabryna, of Gassaway, and Jacob Moats of Sutton.  Bonnie is also survived by her great grandchildren , Kenzlea, Kenadie, Kaydence, Leelynn, Bryson, and Leyton; and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Bonnie’s wishes she will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
