Shirley Sue (Rader) Cutlip, beloved mother, aunt and grandmother, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at her home in Exchange, WV, after a long illness.

Born in Gassaway, WV, on June 15, 1939, Sue married Lowell Stanton Cutlip and they had 6 children:  George Cutlip of Fairmont; Maria Cutlip of Exchange; Carla (Bill) Nelson of Charleston; Eric Cutlip of Sissonville; Mark Cutlip of Nitro; and Lowell Justin (Josie) Cutlip of Exchange.  Sue loved and was very proud of her children and her grandchildren: Samantha and Fox Nelson; Austin Holmes and Reese Cutlip; Mason, Daulton and Ryan Cutlip, and Madison Farley; Ethan Nicholas, and Tyler and Emma Cutlip.  Sue also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents: “Bud” and Myrtle (Rose) Rader of Gassaway; her husband, Lowell Cutlip; her brother Bill (Darrell Steele) Rader; and her sister, Betty Riffle.

She was a long-time member of the Farm Bureau and Cutlip’s Baptist Church of Exchange where she served as Treasurer for many years until her health no longer allowed.  To know Sue was to know the sweetest, most loving woman in the world.  She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends.

Sue was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
