Lambert, 95, of Strange Creek, WV, surrendered to God’s loving arms on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Braxton Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born October 3, 1920, the son of the late Joseph E. and Prudence Carter Lambert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Hallie Hardway Lambert; son, Ronald Wayne Lambert; brothers, Paul, Victor, Bernard, and Virgil; sisters, Gladys Mullens, and Rosalie Green. Arthur owned and operated an agricultural limestone business serving Braxton and surrounding counties for more than 40 years. Arthur attended Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Servia, WV. He is survived by sons, Arthur Jr, (Deborah) and Roger Lambert; daughters, Patsy Rhodes, (Gary) and Terri Carr, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
