Wanda Roush Strickland, 96, of Frametown, passed away June 4, 2019 at Glenville Center.

She was born August 18, 1922 in Clendenin, a daughter of the late Dewey Roush and Hattie Pearl Short Roush.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Strickland; daughter, Patty Kuhl; three brothers; three sisters; and one great granddaughter.

She was a member of Frametown United Methodist church where she played piano for many years.  Her late husband, Roy and her sang in the Gospel Echos group.  Wanda enjoyed acrylic and oil painting.  She loved being outside, going on nature walks, and liked to be out and about.  She loved her cat, Icky, which she also trained.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Donna Sears (Emory “Pat”) of Duck, Tammy Burgett of Weston; sisters, Lou Knight and Aggie Lesher, both of Clendenin; grandchildren, David Sears, Amanda Morrison, Nathaniel Burgett, Joshua (Melissa)Burgett, Micah Burgett (Stephany Posey), Caleb (Carrie) Burgett, and Jeanna (Ryan) Parmer; and many great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Friday, June 7, 2019 at Frametown United Methodist church with Reverend Johnny Conrad officiating.  Interment will be in the Clendenin Memorial Park.

Visitation will be three hours prior to the service.
