Perkins 89 of Gassaway, WV passed away on the 23rd of May 2019, at the River Oaks Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born June 24,1929 to the late Lee and Floda (Douglas) Perkins of Riffle, WV. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Perkins of MN; grandson Scott (Jennifer) Bennett of OH; granddaughters, Tammie (Michael) Metzler and Leslie Brown of OH; sister, Marjorie Hall of WV: brother, Dana Perkins of WV; and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy “Brownie” Perkins; son Herbert L. Perkins; daughter, Nancy(Jeffery) Perkins-Coventry; granddaughter, Brittiny(Nicholas) Perkins-Brown; sister, Pauline Mosherr ; brothers, Earnest “Buddy” Perkins, Thornton Perkins and Denver Perkins.
