Ashley William Napier, 56, of Gassaway passed away April 3, 2019 at home.

He was born September 23, 1962 in Denver, Colorado.

For most of Ashley’s working life he worked building construction.  He started his career in Colorado and then worked for Corlis Design in WV for 12 years.  Following this he was the Central West Virginia Outreach Center manager for 10 years.  He was an active member of the Hope Baptist Church until the time of his death.  Leading people to the Lord was his passion in life.  He touched many people’s lives and he will be truly missed. Ashley was an outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ashley was preceded in death by his father, Billie Napier; stepmother, Teresa Napier; brother, Marshall Napier; and one stepsister.

He is survived by his companion, Linda Sears; mother, Imogene Kay Clutter of Gassaway; brother, Montgomery “Monty” Napier of Mansfield, OH; sister, Margaret Cook of Gassaway; 10 stepbrothers and stepsisters; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Hope Baptist Church, Frametown with Reverend Rich Demastus officiating.  Interment will be in the Criner Cemetery, Wilsie.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 P.M. Friday, April 5 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, Ashley requested donations be made to Central West Virginia Outreach Center, 37 Little Buffalo Road, Gassaway, WV  26624.
