He was born February 6, 1934 in Clay County a son of the late Burton and Goldie Mae Hamerick Harrison. He was a truck driver and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by brothers, Levi Porter Harrison, Charles Clyde Harrison, Ishmael Harrison and Orlando Franklin Harrison; sisters, Violet Marie and Glynus. He is survived by wife, Janet Adkins Harrison; daughter, Sherry Lynn Stewart (Raymond) of Heaters and Michael Wayne Harrison (Jennifer) of Welch; brother, Ralph Harrison of Clay. Graveside service with military rites will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Rhodes Cemetery on Dog Run, Clay County with Pastor Wayne Litton officiating.
