Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Agnes Marie Crites, 74, of Gassaway passed away October 12, 2017 at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. She was born June 28, 1943 in Braxton County a daughter of the late Lanta James and Statie Cogar Jeffries Hannah. She worked for the Department of Defense in Richmond, VA and was owner of the Ideal Cut Rate in Gassaway. She was a great caretaker. She is survived by daughters, Cindy Lemon and Angie Smith Johnson; stepson, Mark Crites; grandson, J.J. Smith; granddaughter, Mandi Lemon; great grandson, Jeremiah James Scott Smith; brothers, Frank Jeffries and Brace Cook; sister, Brenda Mae Belknap; three nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Darrell J. Crites; son, Jimmy Smith; grandson, Jeremiah Christopher Smith. Service will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 at Richard M.
