Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Sommers Richard Ellis, 62, of Duck, Braxton County, WV, passed away August 30, 2017 at home. He was born September 18, 1954 in Logan, WV a son of the late Roel Bruce and Mabel Buzzard Ellis. He was retired with 32 years of service from Parker-Hannifan Corp., Michigan. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and camping. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carolyn Gleason Ellis; sisters, Anna Lou Walls, Kathy Lively, Vicki McNeil and Marchia Traves; brothers, Ted Ellis and Oliver Ellis; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by sister, Romane Sherwood; brothers, Robert and Larry Ellis.
