He enjoyed watching the” Andy Griffith Show”. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Harper Edgell; mother, Anna Faye Bowen Edgell of Spencer; son, Travis Edgell of Little Birch; daughter, Misty Williams of Hico; aunt, Reek Hively of Spencer; seven grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his father, Romie Edgell; infant son, Christopher; two brothers. Per John’s request, he will be cremated and there will be no service.
