Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Paul Glenwood McElwee “Pap”, 91, of Gassaway, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 18, 2017. He was born on June 22, 1926 to the late Ressie and Cleo (Long) McElwee. Pap loved spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jack Edward; wife, Madeline; and son, James William. He leaves behind his family who will miss his spunk, daughter, Sue (David) Marple of Flatwoods; son, Randy of Athens, Georgia; grandchildren, JD, Kelly (Scott), Lauren, Kyle, and Ryan; great grandchildren, Reagan, Zac, Rory, Grady, Jaydon and Silas; several nieces and nephews, and his friends at the Braxton County Rehabilitation Center and the Senior Center.
