Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Bill Burdette officiating. Interment will be in the Strange Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Louise Mae Goodson, 84, of Gassaway, passed away May 2, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.

She was born August 1, 1932 in Braxton County a daughter of the late Oscar James and Virginia Helen Perrine Rohrbough.

Louise was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to music, word puzzles, watching TV and going on her evening walk.

She is survived by daughters, Connie Spinks of Gassaway, Karen Boggs of Charleston and Clara Miller of Alabama; sons, James Goodson and wife, Donna of Birch River, William and Leroy Goodson both of Gassaway.; brothers, Earl and Jerry Rohrbough both of Gassaway and Steve Rohrbough of Texas; sisters, Lillie Setters of Fairmont, Lola Schoonmaker of Romney and Marsha Frame of Morgantown; grandchildren, Cindy Nettles, Jason Boggs, Amy Boggs and several more grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Bunny” Goodson; son, Donnie Goodson; brothers, John, Bernard, Otis and Ed; sisters, Kathleen Rohrbough, Lillian Bostic and Mary Joann Kesling.
