Norma Lee Jenkins, 75, of Normantown, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, January 23, 2017. She passed away peacefully at her home on Poplar Lick due to an extended illness.

She was born March 10, 1941.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert D. Jenkins; daughter, Zetta Jenkins; grandson, Adam E. Rollyson.

She is survived by three brothers, Darrell Stump and wife, Martha of Weston, David Stump and Donald Stump both of Poplar Lick, Normantown; three sisters, Patricia Stump, Jean Allen and Goldie Jarvis and husband, Junior all who reside in Poplar Lick, Normantown.

Norma’s surviving children are Timothy Jenkins and Kenny Jenkins both of Normantown, Kimlee Jenkins and wife, Sherry of Tanner, Jody Jenkins and fianceé, Florence Parker of Chapel, Dianne Jenkins Mace and husband, Marty of Sutton, Zelda Jenkins Burngasser and husband, Robert of Litchfield, OH and Teresa Jenkins and fiancé, James Mencer of Conings; grandchildren, Amber Rollyson, Rachelle Pritt, LaDonna Jenkins, Janeeva Jenkins, Lasa Rhinehart, Britney Beall, Linda Miller, Braylon Mencer, Joshua Jenkins and Charles Burngasser; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Noah and Gabriel McQuain, Adam Eagle and great granddaughter, Makinna Pritt.

Norma was a housewife, who liked to garden, cook and can her own food. She enjoyed music, drawing and farm animals. In her later years she enjoyed sitting on her porch watching her grandchildren play and playing with her puppy Chloie.

Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Roger Luzader officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery, Normantown.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, January 27 at the funeral home.
