Truly one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known. My first experience meeting Nellie, I was a child when she worked at Dr. Hoylman's office, she had a way of making people feel safe, relieved some of the stress of a doctors visit. She was a very compassionate person, who loved deeply. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

It was a happy day when Nellie joined our family. She is without a doubt one of the best persons that God ever gave to the earth. Nellie was naturally sweet, caring, giving, generous, loving, kind, etc. She treated everyone she met with a genuine interest and special kindness. She was a blessing to her family, church, and community. The difficult part of giving Nellie back to God will be balanced with the legacy of love that will be continued with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchild. I know that Nellie is overcome with happiness at being in Heaven with her Lord and being reunited with her family members, particularly her precious son, Michael. Rest in peace, sweet Nellie. We will love you forever.
