To the siblings or other relatives of Linda King: Very sorry to hear of your loss. I am a member of the Elk River Chapter of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). Patriotism is a big part of our goals. We are compiling a list of female veterans from Braxton County and would like to add Linda to our list. The only thing I need to add her is what she did while in the Army and rank when she completed her nine years. Would someone please send me an email regarding that service. I wish I had known her especially while she worked at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg. Our chapter sends items needed for veteran patients to the VA on a regular basis.
