His funeral service will be 4 P.M. Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV with Pastor Gary Maynard officiating.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Marvin’s request for cremation will be honored after his service.

The family would like to give special thanks to Pastor Gary Maynard, Dave Pierson, and to WV Caring.

I loved my Uncle Marvin very much. Growing up I always felt close to him. He was a humble soul and he had the biggest most loving heart of any of our family. I have so many memories of him I could share but my favorite is seeing him and Aunt Belinda in the pew at church while I was singing. He fought his battle with COPD valiantly never complaining and to me that takes Faith and strength beyond measure. I know he is rejoicing in heaven with his family he loved and missed dearly. I’ll see you soon Uncle!!!
