Friday, May 26, 2023 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway His funeral service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, May 27th at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Stump officiating. Interment will follow in the Seventh Day Baptist Church Cemetery, Lost Creek, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Gassaway Baptist Church, P.O. Gene was such a nice guy. Unfortunately we had not seen him in a few years, but he had reached out and contacted us over Messenger a while back. He and Barbara were always so nice to our kids when we would all be visiting his dad’s house at the same time. He had that easy going personality and ever-present smile when we talked to him. He will be missed.
