Danny, I pray that you may find comfort in the many wonderful memories you have of Darlene and your time together. She was truly a sweet and gentle person with a heart to match. Your children are a wonderful tribute to the love Darlene and you shared. May you be comforted in the reassurance that her absence though long in our view, will only be a twinkle in time until those asleep in death will be awakened to their names being called, and the world that awaits them will be one of peace and security and void of all suffering. John 11:11-14 tells us about when Lararus died and Jesus went to ressurect him and likened Lararus's death to sleep. He showed his believers the power of the ressurection but only on a small temporay scale but there are many assurances of a resurrection that will be done on a grander scale into a world unlike the one we live in today. (Like 15:49) (Rev 21: 3,4) Today it is just hard to wrap our heads around such thoughts because all around us we see pain and suffering. Just remember God loves his beautiful creations and he longs to restore them from this pain. Without a doubt, in His due time, it will be done. Meanwhile, it's good to know, he has really big shoulders and strong arms and knows how to soften Life's falls. Love you.
