His funeral service will be 1 P.M. Friday, August 13, 2021 at the church with Pastor Rick Garavaglia and Pastor Harold “Shorty” Greenleaf officiating. Burial with Military Gravesite Rites will be in Cox Cemetery, Birch River. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility, 1 Freedoms Way, Clarksburg, WV 26301 or to Cox Cemetery c/o Harry and Barb Kelly, 93 Memory Lane, Birch River, WV 26610. Dottie I am so sorry for you and your family. Carl was a good man. He and I were the same age and I have fond memories of all of us playing at the old home place. Blessings

Dottie so good talking to you yesterday! Ray said he will really miss him , they laughed a lot. He always enjoyed working with him. Those days in Meeker will never be forgotten. God has been so good to all of us and seeing and being with Carl is getting closer every day! All our love!

I’m sorry for the family and friends loss. I work at the VA Nursing Facility and what a honor it was to know Carl. He was always smiling and he’d always hug ya. He will be greatly missed and his smile for sure. RIP Carl Today was my first day back since you passed and I’ll tell ya not seeing you sit in the hall and smiling was so hard.
