John we meant in one of the strangest and worst circumstances we could of but we made the very best out of a bad situation. I don't know if we were really actually blood related or not but regardless we became family through our struggle and the way we always had each others back. I'm glad we got to spend some time together a few years back after we were both free men again. I remember right before I came home you promised to draw me a portrait of my girlfriend at the time, I left you my address and a photo of her. After a few months had passed I got a large yellow envelope in the mail with your address and name addressed to me at my address at the time. I can't tell you how much that picture really meant to me, not even because it was of the girl I loved. That picture had allot of sentimental value to me because it was from you and it represented two important things,1 because you took the time out of your day to draw it for me and 2 because you kept your word to me as a man. I have much love and respect for you for being such a great guy to be around and no matter what you always made me laugh and put a smile on my face. I'll never forget you John, thank you for being you and showing me what it felt to have someone who genuinely cared. Until we meet again
