It's taken time for me to leave my words for a man of whom I had/have such honest respect for. I think that it always went unspoken our mutual respect for each other. I always understood blood is thicker than water, even though through circumstances the ones you left behind have our blood and for many reasons, I am grateful for that fact. Regardless if true words remain unspoken, God above whom I know you are with indeed knows all and has already forgiven them. I am so grateful your character and wisdom will be with them for years to come. It truly broke my heart hearing that you are gone. Thank you for those times we were able to speak openly honestly but in private and yes. One day that truth will be known. I just wish you were still here to be apart of that happy day. Even though unspoken, you truly understood and cared. I thank you and whisper hello to my dad. You both are great men never to be forgotten. Respect. Sending love through TRH1 And TRH2 rip Taryn and 1 unknown. 2 that should have been 4. In my hear and thoughts every single day.

Dear Debbie and Family, I was very sad to read about Buck in the papers. On the few occasions when I saw you together you always struck me as a team, a good team. You made a good home for your children and later your grandchildren. You worked hard on your farm. Of course you will miss him dearly but he will live forever in your heart and mind. My sympathy to all of you. With warm thoughts, Olga

You could not have better neighbors than Buck and Debbie Hamric. We have been so very blessed to live beside them all these years. Buck was always there with his tractor to pull trees out of the creek or move cement slabs or move other large items around for us. We would not have known what to do without him. He was a dear, kind and wonderful man. Our sincere condolences to all the Family.

Aunt Debbie, my deepest condolences to you and the family. May Gods Grace give you the strength to overcome during this time of mourning for his loss. Sometimes people make the mistake of blaming God for taking someone away from us instead of thanking Him for the years that they shared together. Please be thankful. As you may know our father wasn't around a lot and when he was it wasn't pleasant. When I was with uncle Buck, it was always a joy to be in his company. As children we probably did son stupid stuff, and even if he was stearn, I could feel the love from him. He was ALWAYS a joy to be around. I'm jealous of your kids, adults now, for the great father he must have been. Again, May God bless you at this time of need. Love you all.

Bucky, from my point of view, you were the best son a mother could hope for, which I know made you the wonderful husband, father, and grandfather that you became. My memories of you as we were growing up center around horseback riding, putting up hay, and fall harvest. One October you and your sweet mother came to Duck and spent a night with our family so we could get an early start the next day gathering black walnuts. We would fill the old burlap feed sacks and pile them on the sled. Mom, who was your double-first cousin (Reginia Pearl Jarvis Ballengee) was a pretty good muleskinner, but I am sure that day she put the reins in your capable hands. I looked up to you and idolized you as my hero. (Truth be told, I wished we weren't cousins so I could marry you.) However, I was always so happy that you married well and found the perfect mate to live out your dreams of farming and clean, country living. I am so sorry that the paths our lives took did not allow us to visit more often but one visit I remember when my two children were small was a very remarkable one. You told us about the special room you were preparing so your boys could have friends over and shoot pool in a safe, family atmosphere. A very wise choice. I lost touch with you over the years but you were always in my heart. Every young person growing up needs a hero and you were mine. I can remember on one of our visits that you walked over to Lamb's store and got us a 'bottle of pop' and we sat on the front porch swing reading comic books. Good times.....and we also both loved hunting morels even though we never got to do it together as I recall. We both were hooked on the thrill of the hunt!!!! And finally, one last stop on this walk down memory lane. I remember you and your mom going to church there in Frametown when a truly amazing revival broke out. Many had never heard of a revival that lasted more than a week, or maybe two. But your mama called my mama and was inviting us to come. Many churches around joined in. And believe it or not, it lasted over a month....I think it was six weeks. Amazing to recall those days when you were getting your feet planted on that firm foundation, as was I. I probably should apologize for taking so much space, but I won't. I figured that the best way to console your family is to let them know what a huge impact your life had on others. It is my prayer that those who read this will be inspired to let us get to know you better as we see you through their eyes. My last thing to share with your family is this! If someone keeps coming across your mind and for no obvious reason, please follow your heart and reach out to that someone. During this past winter Buck and Debbie crossed my mind often and I was wishing we could get together to visit. But due to Covid, I did not follow through and reach out as I should have. If only I had picked up the phone and called! I will try to not procrastinate in the future and turn my regret into a lesson learned. We love you, Buck and we can't bring you back but we can prepare to come where you are!!!!
