Interment with military graveside rites will be in Nottingham Mountain, Strange Creek. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. My heart is broken, there isn't a good enough word to describe Uncle Danna. I've been very blessed to have an Uncle like him and very thankful. The many weekends we would be at the house and I would fall asleep in the living room listening to him play because the playing would go till late, the vacation in the Smoky Mountains and Ghost Town in the Sky with all of us, him being there at very important times in my life, my graduation, wedding, holding my daughters and them calling Uncle Danna HoHo, and going 4 wheeling through the mountains. He always had a way of making all of us feel safe and loved. I just pray he knew how loved he was and still is. Uncle Danna may not physically be here with us, but he will always be in my heart! I Love you Uncle Danna!

I have so many memories spending precious time with Uncle Danna. He had such a big heart and was always working on blankets, pillows and pot holders for everyone. He never knew a stranger and always welcomed all my friends growing up. We always had a wonderful time riding four wheelers in the creek, splashing each other and acting crazy! I can still hear him laughing at us smoking his pipe in the background. I always loved the smell of Uncle Danna because of the black cherry tobacco. I look forward to the day I can see you again in Heaven Uncle Danna, love you and miss you❤
