I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator. Pour out your heart to God in prayer because “he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by “the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.” (Philippians 4:6, 7) We have a wonderful future promised at Revelation 21:4: God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more; Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more!
