Becky and Christy: I suspect you won’t remember me but your Dad and I played softball (and some golf) together back in the 1970’s when you both were very young. I considered him both a talented athlete and good friend and I was so sorry to learn of his passing. Please accept my and my wife Teena’s condolences.

Gregg, There’s so much that could be said about this really great man. He was one of the best friends I’ve ever had in life, which is comical because we were the from two entirely different worlds. Not many could understand the friendship that we had. We were from different places, with different ethnic backgrounds, different generation/stage of life, and yet we became friends. I believe our friendship was our destiny. I know that he and I were there for each other with hours of talking at times where we felt like we didn’t have anybody else. It was an honor to be his friend. You’re so wise, and from the perspective of a true hearted person, I loved hearing his thoughts and reflections on life. We told each other our dreams, our regrets, our goals bucket list items, our fears, or whatever was on our minds. He was always there for the people he cared about with an ear and a shoulder to cry on. I met him later in life his life as a customer at my bar and we bonded over hours of conversation. He later invited me to work paint jobs With him and he helped me get out of bartending, because he let we work paint jobs with him on the side. I was able to become a flight attendant because of him, my amazing friend. He was an amazing father. An amazing handyman, an amazing whatever you needed him to be. As my friendship grew with him, he came to every one of our family events, birthdays, thanksgivings, just because events , and my whole family grew to love him. He was like a second grandfather to my children. He always brought the most random and interesting gifts for the kids and coins and what not. We will remember him for the rest of all of our lives. I don’t know how many know this about Gregg, but he was an absolute pool shark. Billiards was our thing and I swear I never saw the man lose game on accident. He would always play down, to make his opponent feel like the game was competitive and exciting. He would only play ever so slightly better than whoever he was playing against which would keep their spirits up. so because of this, I’m not actually sure how good he even was. But he never lost. He was definitely the man who had a trigger to up his sleeve.

Greg won over our hearts from day one at Braxton Healthcare, his big smile and laid back demeanor was a welcomed addition to the facility. He was able to bring laughter, joy and smiles to all of us. His strength and determination served as a reminder to us to keep your chin up and let things roll. He will be greatly missed. Condolences to the family, his friends, and all who knew and loved him. Much love and prayers coming your way♥️
