Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Melissa “Misi” Marie Hawkins, 54, of Sutton passed away at home on Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born in Gassaway on October 14, 1967. Preceding her in death was her companion of 20+ years, Donald Charles Davis. Misi enjoyed listening to music, especially Janis Joplin. She often read romance novels and watched Grizzly Adams on TV. In the summer she enjoyed being outdoors, sunbathing and swimming. She also spent time with her family. She is survived by her daughters Shanna Marie Johnson of Lubbock, TX and Sonya Leigh Hawkins of Gassaway; her mother Lela Joan Cogar of Gassaway; and her great aunt Wilma Johnson of Sutton.
