Betty Helen Starr departed this earth on Monday, October 18, 2020 at Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown WV.

She was born on June 4, 1931 in Duck, WV to the late Roy and Hallie Hill Mollohan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl, Orville and George; and her sisters Mary Jean Keller, Hope Ballangee, and Evelyn Schiavone.

She is survived by her nieces, Sharon Lynch and Mary Anne Daly; nephew Mark Schiavone; and her sister-in-law, Jane Malcomb.

Betty briefly lived in New York City and worked as a teletype operator. She also lived in California where she was a personal assistant and caregiver. She then returned to Braxton County where she also served as a live-in caregiver for people in need. She enjoyed baking, reading, sewing, and needlepoint. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Graveside service will be 1 P.M. Monday, October 26, 2020 at Jack Point Cemetery, Servia, WV with Reverend Johnny Conrad officiating.
