Obituaries » Michael Allen Lemon August 12, 2001 - September 6, 2023 Burial Date September 12, 2023 Visitation will be 4 to 8 P.M. Monday, September 11, 2023 at Gassaway Baptist Church. His funeral will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, September 12th at the church with Reverend Rich Demastus and Reverend Robey Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Jerushia Church Cemetery at the head of Sugar Creek. The family would like to thank Dr. Galantowicz and the staff of Nationwide Children’s Hospital of Columbus, Ohio for compassionate care of Michael and their personal touches on his life. His family wishes to thank all those who prayed for him and who are praying for their family. I know you don't know me, but my name is Ben. I met Michael through some mutual college friends during the COVID epidemic and we became good friends. in recent years I mad countless trips out to WVU to hang out with Michael and the rest of our group and I was very fond of him as a person and a friend. He always had something very witty to say that brought a special kind of life to our interactions and when you needed someone with a technical knowledge of anything, he was always there to lend a hand, even if it was just words. I know I speak for our entire group of guys when I say he will be deeply missed. I am so sorry for your loss and I will be praying for you and your family.

Dear Family- Your loss is unimaginable. My own heart and brain won’t so much as let me go there. Yet here you are in the midst of it- a great big hole where Michael should be. My heart goes out to each of you. Michael and you all endured so much over the years. Though his suffering is done , your hope is to cling to your faith and each other for solace.
