Howard Jackson “Jack” Linger, 88, of Rosedale, WV, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

He was born December 8, 1936, the son of the late Howard A. Linger (Buchannon) and Mabel (Collins) Linger (West Union). He was also preceded in death by his siters, Zella Margaret Cole, Shirley Linger, and Carolyn Dulabahn.

Jack worked for Akron Craftsman Printing and Allied Printing as a certified letter pressman. He served in the U.S. Army and the Ohio National Guard. Jack enjoyed trap shooting and fishing.

Jack is survived by his wife, Karen Linger, of Rosedale, WV; stepson, Brian (Alyssa) Cole; step-grandchildren, Noelle, Jenna, and Paul Cole of Akron, OH; and one niece and two nephews of Georgia.
