Charlotte Lee Legg

Charlotte Lee Legg, 87, of Elyria Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at her home.

She was born on March 31, 1938, in Clay, West Virginia, a daughter of the late William Brown and Della Gray Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver; daughter, Wanda Jantz; grandson, William Ransom; and six brothers.

Charlotte enjoyed quilting and listening to gospel music. She loved her family and she was a strong Christian woman by faith. She was a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons William Legg of Caldwell, Ohio, Joseph Legg (Jane) of Lorain, and Benjamin Legg (Jeanie) of LaGrange, Ohio; daughter, Norma Ransom (Charles) of Lorain; seven grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Casto, Janice Archer, Cecil Brown (Sheila) and Johnie Brown (Debbie); and several nieces and nephews.

Charlotte’s funeral will be 12 noon on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway with Pastor Freddie Schoolcraft officiating. Her burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore, West Virginia.

Her visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
