Farrel Rowan, 65, of Sutton, passed away with Doris by his side on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston due to a sudden illness. He was born in Sutton on March 29, 1957, to the late Everett Rowan and Della Davis Rowan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Michael Rowan; brother, Gaile Rowan; and twin brother, Darrel Rowan. Farrel was an excellent provider for his wife. They were co-owners of Central West Virginia Mobile Home Sales and owners of Rowan’s Mobile Home Park. Farrel was a jack-of-all-trades and master of none. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and camping with his wife. He enjoyed watching the wildlife while listening to country music. Farrel would go to his mancave and build furniture for his house. He often built large wooden flowerpots for his friends. With his woodworking projects he was a perfectionist. Farrel was a caring person. He will be deeply missed. His memories will be cherished by his wife and best friend of 42 years, Doris Jackson Rowan.
