Ethel "Murt" Virginia Nelson

Ethel “Murt” Virginia Nelson, 67, of Harrison, WV passed away July 18, 2017 at the home of her sister, Linda Richardson.

Ethel was born May 8, 1950 in Braxton County a daughter of the late Jink and Ava Gray Nelson. She was preceded in death by her companion, Marsh Rose; brothers, Dodd and Arthur.

She is survived by her sisters, Linda Richardson, Roxie (PeeWee) Schoolcraft; brother, Dorsey (Eunice) Thomas.

She loved spending time with her family.

A celebration of Ethel’s life will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Freddie Schoolcraft officiating.

Interment will be in the Chapman Cemetery, Groves Creek.

Visitation will be two hours prior to service.
