James Junior Duffield, 93, of Gassaway, passed away July 14, 2017 at home. He was born September 16, 1923 in Gassaway. Junior was an Army veteran of WWII serving in Guam. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Audrey Frame Duffield; sons, David (Patty) Duffield and Brad (Debbie) Duffield both of Gassaway; grandson, Chase Duffield of Gassaway; granddaughters, Erica McCormick of Gassaway and Elissa (Art) Tevis of Sutton; great grandsons, Jaxon Tevis, Riley Tevis and Owen Tevis all of Sutton; brother, Robert (Peggy) Duffield of Palm Bay, FL. He was preceded in death by brothers, Basil and William. Per Junior’s request his body was cremated and there will be no services.
