Linda L. King

Linda L. King, 81, of Gassaway, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.

She was born in Gassaway to the late John Wesley King and Gladys Ilene Brown King on July 22, 1943.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Louise Climer, Edith Dobbins, Jean Ross, Norma Hashman, Bill King, Estel Hughes, Lenard King and David King.

Linda served her country in the United States Army for nine years. Once she returned to civilian life, she worked at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Her caring for others and servant heart will be missed.

Left to cherish her memories are her brother, Jim King and wife, Loretta; sisters, Phyllis Jones and Nellie Lockhart; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be 1 P.M. Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway with Pastors Brian McCoy and Mark Schrader officiating.

Interment will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway.
