Vada Bernice Ice Marks

Vada Bernice Ice Marks, 77, of Normantown, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Mon Health Medical Center, Morgantown, WV.

She was born on April 5, 1947, in Grantsville, to the late Dempsey Ice and Sylvia Wilson Ice.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Marks; and several brothers and sisters.

Vada was a homemaker who loved her family. She enjoyed cooking and reading murder mysteries. She worked out of the home for many years as the laundry lady at Glenville Nursing Home.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Linda Evon Lowe of Normantown, Lummie Wickline and husband, Richard, of Sissonville, Thomas Edward Marks II of Sissonville, and Robin King and husband, John, of Wilsie; grandchildren, John Peters and wife, Jessica, Dusty Peters and wife, Jennifer, Crystal Cox and husband, Billy, Mindy Leroy and husband, Robert, Angel Leroy and husband, Dwayne, Thomas Wolfter, Billy Wolfter, Johnny King and wife, Britney, and Jesse King; and several great grandchildren; brother, Junior Ice and wife, Peggy, of Rosedale; sisters, Wilma Ice of Texas, and Cheryl Perkins of Florida.

Her graveside service will be 2 P.M. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Marks Family Cemetery, Stumptown.
