Dee Mollohan, 50, of Frametown, WV, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Dee was born on February 11, 1972 to Francis Atsberger and Orville Carrie “John D.” Mollohan Sr. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Raymond Atsberger; nephews, Daniel Linsinbigler and Dillon Sears; sister, Karen Nottingham; uncle, James “Buddy” Duffield; paternal grandparents, Charles Ivan Mollohan and Elsie Ernestine Sutton Mollohan and maternal grandparents, Owen Duffield and Edith Loraine Pierson Duffield. Dee spent his free-time playing video games and watching the Discovery and History channels. He was a wealth of knowledge and had facts for every occasion that he loved to share with everyone. He loved music, the music channel, and music videos. Dee built model cars and had a fondness for NASCAR. He had a vast collection of memorabilia from his favorite NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He loved his little dog, Molly, who never left his side and sweet cat, Smokey. Once you got past the gruff exterior, Dee always had a smile on his face and a laugh to share. Dee’s heart was kind and caring; he was more than happy to help anyone, in any way that he could. Dee loved children, especially his daughter, Katie; she was his pride and joy. Left to cherish his memory are his dear loving wife of 23 years, Canza Mollohan, of Gassaway; loving mother, Francis Atsberger of Sutton; dear daughter, Katie Lauren James of Gassaway; father, John D. Mollohan; stepmother, Judy Craft; sisters, Carrie “Sue” Hannah of Sutton, Cynthia Phillips of Sutton, Valerie Linsinbigler of Daytona, Florida, Sarah Bender of Flatwoods and Carrie Mace of Frametown; brothers, Jay Atsberger of Ohio, Larry “Binky” Duffield of Lorraine County, OH, Charley Mollohan of Ohio, Johnny Mollohan of Duck; and uncle, Johnny Duffield of Flatwoods, WV; and adopted sister, Jennifer Rhodes of Sutton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M.
