Robert Leon Moore

Robert Leon Moore, 82, of Copen passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home.

He was born March 14, 1939 at Tanner, WV to the late Alfred and Martha Grogg Moore.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Grogg, William Moore, Harry Moore, Jim Moore, and Ray Moore; and sisters, Edna Kemper and Mary Ferguson.

Bob was a rig hand in the oil field.  He loved the outdoors and liked to hunt.  Bob enjoyed Bluegrass music and shows.  He was an outgoing person who loved his family.  Bob was a Christian by faith.

Forever cherishing their memories of Bob are his wife, Phyllis Ann Drake Moore; son, Jason Moore of Copen and grandchildren, Jordan Moore and Emma Moore; daughter, Crystal Putnam and husband, Jason, of Glenville and granddaughter, Jessica Drake and husband, Josh, of Ripley; sisters, Lenora Huff, Kay Miller, and Jean Nolan.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
