George Omer Gregorich

George Omer Gregorich, 93, of Chapel, WV, Braxton County, passed away September 26, 2015 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 22, 1922 a son of the late Frank and Lula Carte Gregorich.

He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII serving in Italy and North Africa. He was a retired baker for Nickles Bakery.

George was a faithful servant to Jesus Christ and went to the Old German Church. He loved hunting, fishing and visits from his family.

He was preceded in death by wife, Doris Wayne Gregorich; four brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by children, Steve Gregorich (Kathy) of Wilmot, OH, Rick Gregorich (Carol) of Dalton, OH, Marilyn Jo Gregorich of Smithville, OH, Dan Wayne (Janie), Jim Wayne (Joyce), Robert Wayne (Brenda) all of Chapel, WV and Neda Shaver (Lawrence) of Flatwoods, WV; sisters, Mary Lou Gregorich of Gassaway, WV and Judy Hart (John Coulter) of Charleston, WV; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the Old German Community Church, Chapel, WV with Pastors Buddy Lemon and Rick Hart officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the Bender Run Church Cemetery, Chapel.
