Alice Lorene (McCullough) Hamric

Alice Lorene (McCullough) Hamric, 79, of Glenville, passed away at home surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday, June 27, 2021 after a short illness.

She was born November 30, 1941 in Glenville to the late Arthur and Mary McCullough.

Alice was the wife of Roxile Dennis Hamric of 50 years; ex-wife of Fredrick Cottrill; and mother of eight children, Fredrick Jackson Cottrill, Debbie Cottrill, Deidra George (Robert), Micheal Cottrill (Shielia), Henry Cottrill (Deane), Janet Jones, Angela Lorene Dobbins (Tracy), and Mary Ardel Dobbins (Johnlee); grandmother to Betty L. Harris, Misty Keener, and many others; and great grandmother to several.

She was a wife and mother first but she was also a cook and caregiver.  She worked for years to support her family.  She was a Christian by faith.

In keeping with Alice’s wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
