Dolly Dimple Bledsoe Vaughan Jack

Named for a flower, Dolly “Dimple” Bledsoe Vaughan Jack, 71, of Exchange left her Earthly home and family March 11, 2016, to join her own bed of flowers.

She was born November 7, 1944 in Acme, Kanawha County and was one of 12 children of the late David Felix Bledsoe, Sr. and Birdie Rachel Harris Bledsoe.

Dolly was a homemaker of many talents, but above all, she was a much loved mother, wife, sister and daughter. She was a very special spirit.

In addition to her parents, Dolly was preceded in death by her brothers, David Felix Bledsoe, Jr., Jackie Lee Bledsoe; sisters, Birdie Kyle, Bernice Douglas, Chesaline Davis and Paige Dandrea.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Jack; son, Danny Brent Vaughan of Charleston; daughters, Jan Lynn Vaughan and Dawn Wanzo of Belpre, OH, Brenda Lee Vaughan of Servia; sisters, Margaret Calvert of Glenville, Shirley (William) Taylor of Charleston, Judy Cogar of Sutton, Dawn Rae Bledsoe of Sutton and Devon Renae Bourbeau of Sutton; grandchildren, Danny Brent (Amanda) Vaughan , Jr. of Huntington, Dustin (Julie) Vaughan of Charleston, Cassi Vaughan of Sutton, Gabrielle Graham of Ohio, Tabatha (Jimmy) Huffman of Exchange, Tyler Bookheimer and Taylor Bookheimer both of Servia; great grandchildren, Carson Huffman, Noah and Connor Vaughan, Alexander and Emmaleigh Miller and Haylee Vaughan.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the Hospice Care caretakers, Avis, Debbie, Victoria and Dr. Sally Stewart, who are angels of their craft.

Service of Remembrance will be 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 at the funeral home.
