Robert “Bob” Lee King, 87, of Gassaway, passed away March 9, 2016 at the Meadowview Manor, Bridgeport. He was born January 4, 1929 in Clay County a son of the late John and Dora King. Bob was a boilermaker and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He attended the Church of God, Gassaway. He enjoyed going to the Braxton County Senior Center and loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond King, Jesse King and Bill King; sister, Eloise Bove. Bob is survived by wife, Grace Selmon King; children, Debbie Queitsch and husband, Nick of Florida and Philip King and wife, Missy of Sutton; grandson, Brandon; sister, Marie Stephens and husband, Barry of Indianapolis, IN; stepchildren, Pam Childress and husband, Roy of Florida, Richard Earley and wife, Lisa of New Matamoras, OH, Greg Earley and wife, Brenda of New Matamoras, OH and Brenda Kay Motich and husband, Greg of Barberton, OH; 12 step-grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.
