Milford Lewis “Louie” Mollohan

Milford Lewis “Louie” Mollohan, 71, of Duck, WV passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at home after a long illness.

He was born April 13, 1949 to Charles Ivan and Elsie Sutton Mollohan, who preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry, and his beloved companion, Peanut.

Louie was a proud Army veteran, having served his country in the Vietnam War.  He was a US Mail Contractor for many years.  He also was a welder and a mechanic.  Louie was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish.  He enjoyed traveling and one of his best trips he and his brother, Clark, traveled to the North Pole.  He enjoyed watching westerns on the television.  You could often find Louie sitting on his front porch drinking coffee.  Friends and neighbors would stop and visit with him on the porch.  He was a good friend to all and would do anything for anyone that needed help.  He will be missed.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janet; children, Patricia (Cliff), Joseph, Elizabeth, and Susan; four granddaughters and two great grandchildren; siblings, John Dee, George, Clark and Todd Mollohan and Cindy Nipper

Graveside Service with full military rights will be 1 P.M. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Mollohan Family Cemetery, Servia, WV with Rev. Johnny Conrad officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to WV Caring, PO Box 760, Arthurdale, WV 26520.
