Annetta Katherine Lewis Carter, 94, of Burnsville, WV, formerly of Marysville, IN, passed away October 4, 2015 at Clay Health Care Center, Ivydale, WV. She was born February 23, 1921 in Central Barren, IN a daughter of the late Archie and Edna Elizabeth Hartman Howell. She was retired from the Maryhurst School for Girls. She was preceded in death by husband, Ray Carter and eight siblings. She is survived by children, Jacqueline A. Nealcobb, Beverly F. Mattingly, Michael C. Vawtar, Lola Crist, Tom Wallace Lyons, Albert Wallace Lyons and Leslie Wallace Lyons; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
