Dale Lee Harris

Dale Lee Harris, 68, of Gassaway passed away at home Monday, July 13, 2020.

He was born July 8, 1952 in Gassaway to the late Robert Eugene and Virginia Trowbridge Harris.  He was also preceded in death by brother, Michael Fox and granddaughter, Courtney Wilson.

Dale is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jeanne May Harris; one brother, David Harris of Gassaway; daughter, Stacy Harris of Ohio; three sons, Eric Harris of Shreve, Ohio, Jason Harris and Ryan Harris both of Gassaway; grandchildren, Jacie Harris, Casey McCourt, Brennan Harris, and Brady Pierson; one great grandson, Easton Lay; also several nieces and nephews.

Dale worked many years and retired from the job of machine operator where he layed rail for the B&O and CSX Railroad Systems.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the Mountaineers, especially football.

In keeping with his wishes, Dale will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
