Sharlene “Sherry” Marie Barnette

Sharlene “Sherry” Marie Barnette, 67 of Frametown, passed away May 18, 2020 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital, Gassaway.

She was born November 25, 1952 in Sutton a daughter of the late Ellis McCourt and Ocie Gathel Barnette.

Sherry was a home healthcare worker for many years.  She never knew a stranger and loved to go dancing.  She dearly loved her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jake McCraw of Barberton, OH; granddaughter, Amanda McCraw of Las Vegas, NV; stepchildren, David Watson, Aarron Watson, Jeff Watson and Josh Watson all of Birch River; brothers, Gus McCourt, Larry Barnette and Donnie Barnette all of Birch River; sister, Juanita Cunningham of Birch River; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister, Brenda Rollyson.

In keeping with Sherry’s wishes, she will be cremated.

There will be no services.
