Edna F. Crislip

Edna F. Crislip, 90, of Frametown, passed away on January 16, 2020 at Braxton Health Care Center.

She was born August 4, 1929 a daughter of the late Fred and Pricie Bishop Hall.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bennie Crislip; sisters, Stella Poling, Carolina Jarvis, Mary Steele, Lorena Rodgers, Essie Rollyson; and brothers, Cecil Hall and Fenton Hall.

Edna was a school cook at Wilsie School and Gassaway Middle School.  She was a homemaker.  She was a gardener who enjoyed raising strawberries.  She canned much from the harvest of her vegetable garden too.  Edna was a seamstress and she enjoyed making dresses and shirts for her family.  She also could sew feed sacks into clothes.  Edna was baptized by faith and was a member of Belfont Simpson Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Ray Rollyson and Tommy Rollyson both of Frametown; stepdaughter, Violet James of Frametown; brother, Kenneth Hall; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.  Interment will be in the Crislip Family Cemetery, Frametown, WV.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday, January 18 at the funeral home.
