Tony L. Mar

Tony L. Mar, 52, of Frametown, WV passed away on December 8, 2019 at home.

He was born August 10, 1967 in Livingston, Montana a son of Doris Marie Mikesell Mar of Livingston, MT and the late Ben Mar.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his infant granddaughter, Railee Mar.

Tony was a 12 year US Navy Veteran.  He was a member of American Legion Post #33, Braxton County, WV.  He was also Sergeant of Arms for the regional American Legion.  He was a chef at Visions Restaurant, Mexican Blues Café and an Executive Chef at Brix Bar and Grill in Livingston, Montana.  In his spare time he enjoyed cooking and fishing.

In addition to his mother, he will be forever remembered by his wife, Karen Matthey Mar; children, Alyssa Lewkowski (Ben) of Sutton, WV, Anthony Mar of Sutton, WV Johnathon Mar of Sutton, WV and Jasmine Mar of Burnsville, WV; stepchildren, CJ Allen of Frametown, WV and Britney Govine (Kummih) of Martinsburg, WV.  He is also survived by daughters, Raja Stickle and Jade Lapinski of Montana; sister, Carla Mar Hill (David) of Washington State; 14 grandchildren, and his fur buddy, Bluebell.

In keeping with Tony’s wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
