Lillie Ann Paintiff

Lillie Ann Paintiff, 91, of Gassaway, passed away October 30, 2019 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital, Gassaway.

She was born August 8, 1928 in Gassaway a daughter of the late George Rice and Nellie Ann Davis Rice.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Lillie was a homemaker and also worked at various jobs.  She loved arts and crafts and quilting.

She is survived by husband, James “Bill” Paintiff; son, Don Schoolcraft of Wilsie; daughter, Vickie Bailey of Duncan, SC; grandchildren, Doug Dean, Ronald Schoolcraft, Kathleen Hawkins and Garry Schoolcraft; five, great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the Schoolcraft Cemetery, Tague with Pastor Bob Paintiff officiating.
