Arleen Ramsey Stump

Arleen Ramsey Stump, 97, of Gassaway, passed away August 14, 2019.

She was born September 29, 1921 in Braxton County a daughter of the late Lester Goff Ramsey and Jurley Boone Ramsey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delford Russell Stump; brothers, David Ramsey, Bud Ramsey and Kenny Ramsey; sister, Maxine Dickenson.

Arleen was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, quilting and canning.  She was a member of the Engel Chapel Community Church, Gassaway.

She is survived by son, Larry Russell Stump of Gassaway; sister, Nellie Brown of Wakeman, OH; grandchildren, Shelly, Lisa, Larry Jr., Deonna, Jamie, Ethan, Sierra, Brandon and Kristen; several great grandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Rev. Tom Harper officiating.  Interment will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 17 at the funeral home.
