Daniel Wayne Meier

Daniel Wayne Meier, 51, of Frametown, passed away August 2, 2019 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital, Gassaway.

He was born July 8, 1968 in Akron, OH.

He was a logger and avid hunter and fisherman.  His greatest joy was spending time with his grandbabies.

He was preceded in death by his life partner, Pam Malcomb; father, Angel Luna; brother, Angel Luna, Jr.

Daniel is survived by children, Daniel Wayne Meier, Trevor Houston Meier (Kyla Gregory), Brittany Hendershot (Nathan) and Hayle Garvin (RJ); grandchildren, Madison, Brailey, Jasper, Colton, Gunnar and one expecting grandson; mother, Violet Meier; siblings, Nita Stepanko (Richard), Tina Jett, Lee Ann Williams, Jodi Morris (Mike), Billy Meier (Misty), Bo Meier (Ellen) and Luke Meier (Jennifer)

A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with a memorial service to follow a 3 p.m.

In keeping with Daniel’s wishes he will be cremated following services.
