Margaret Mary Nicholson

Margaret Mary Nicholson, 53, of Gassaway passed away April 25, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.

She was born September 6, 1965 in New Jersey.

Margaret was a homemaker and caregiver.  She enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening.  In the fall of the year she loved taking drives to see the changing leaves.  She also enjoyed listening to Loretta Lynn’s music.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Darrell McCumbers; uncles, William McCumbers, Gene McCumbers, and Donald McCumbers.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Joe Nicholson; son, Boyd Lawson Nicholson, daughters, Jessica Denise Nicholson, and Diane Renee Nicholson; stepsons, John Nicholson, and Matthew Nicholson; mother, Beverly Ann Hartman of Sutton; brother, Willie McCumbers; aunt, Betty McCumbers of Gassaway; uncles, Roy McCumbers and wife, Linda of Gassaway, Paul McCumbers and wife, Donna of Gassaway, Willard McCumbers of Omaha, Nebraska, Clarence McCumbers of Akron, Ohio, Gary McCumbers and wife, Margaret of Servia, Charles McCumbers and wife, Loretta of Gassaway, and Rick McCumbers of Ovapa, WV; grandchild, Easton Dale Nicholson.

Margaret was cremated and a gathering of family and friends will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Monday, May 6, 2019 with a memorial service to follow at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.
